There are multiple reasons why your camera might not be able to be started by PainChek. The two most common ones are that the App was denied access to the camera when it requested it and that the camera is currently disabled on the phone via a Mobile Device Manager (MDM).

Mobile Device Managers (MDMs) are software that's used by companies to restrict and secure devices such as computers, phones and tablets.
If a mobile phone or tablet has been set up with an MDM, the MDM can be used to make sure the OS and apps are up to date, a passcode is set, the phone is encrypted and more.
The way an MDM can interfere with the PainChek App is if the camera has been restricted and not able to be used.
With the camera disabled you won't be able to create new assessments as assessments require the use of the camera.
If you are experiencing this problem and suspect that you may have an MDM activated on your device, contact your Team Leader or IT staff.
